With Codex we aim for simplicity. You don’t need a complex setup, it just works.

You should be able to open it for the first time or the thousand time and not need to configure much or anything for it to work optimally.

The one advice I do give is to ask more questions.

Codex CLI 是 OpenAI 开源的终端编码智能体（仓库 openai/codex），版本更新频繁，各版本变更以 openai/codex Releases 为准。

意味着什么

CLI 版本号几乎每周一跳，很多体验改进（resume、/review、/feedback、/undo、沙箱等）都是通过这些小版本逐步落地的。

我的观点

保持 CLI 更新到最新版本，是获得这些改进最直接的方式（npm i -g @openai/codex 或 brew upgrade codex）。
